Tom Sheardown

While becoming a Certified Landscape Manager, Tom has developed his passion for landscaping and the outdoors into a career.  After starting with the company as a co-op student in 2013, Tom now oversees company operations and procedures while designing, estimating, and managing projects.

Tom’s love for landscaping began with the maintenance of his grandmother’s property in Horseshoe Valley as a young boy. This interest inspired him to complete a diploma in the Environmental Landscape Management Program at Seneca College.

Tom’s past experience includes golf course maintenance at Horseshoe Resort, assisting in custom home building, as well as completing a certificate from Georgian College in Carpentry Techniques.

Since joining the team, Tom has obtained his AZ License, Chainsaw certification, and Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C.

Tom’s interests include the outdoors, home renos and all sports, while also being on the board of directors with Big Brothers Big Sisters – Orillia and District.
